Kayla is a Phoenix native with an extensive background in journalism, photography, videography, editing, and public relations. She served four years in the U.S. Air Force, where she earned Photojournalist of the Year in 2021 and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. She recently graduated with a Master of Mass Communication from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.

With a background in journalism and award-winning photojournalism, she transforms complex ideas into emotionally resonant narratives that engage audiences. Her experience spans both high-pressure environments like the military—where precision and results mattered—to high-end client-facing roles where she thrived, even without prior industry experience. Whether behind the camera or leading strategy, she brings grit, empathy, and a sharp client focus to every project.

She approaches storytelling with empathy, precision, and intent, rooted in her background where communication was often about trust, clarity, or even safety. Now in marketing and brand strategy, she brings that same mindset: understanding what matters to people and crafting messages and experiences that speak to them on a human level. For Kayla, brands aren’t just about selling—they’re about standing for something, and making an impact by asking the right questions, listening hard, and building strategy with purpose.

Outside of work, Kayla is all about family, friends, and her furry companion, Presley. She has a deep appreciation for the art of tattooing—currently working on her second sleeve—and never strays far from her camera. Constantly observing the world with a curious eye, she’s always on the lookout for visual stories and the beauty in everything.
